3. The partnership

The C.H.I.M.E.R.A. project was progressed and managed by a transnational partnership, including the following organisations:

P1 – Superficie 8 srl (IT) – Applicant

SUPERFICIE 8 is a private SME that offers various services in the field of strategic planning, graphic design, marketing online and offline, communication online and offline, vocational education and training and consulting aimed at organizational improving and the managing of human resources. It pays attention to the development of new technologies and approaches that make increasingly efficient tools for companies and public institutions.

P2 – APMI UMBRIA (IT) - Partner

APMI is the Italian confederation of associations of SMEs. It groups together more than 120.000 small and medium enterprises. APMI promotes the development of the associated SMEs at regional level and represents their issues and interests. Both at national and local level, APMI plays an active role in the definition of policies and politics, and keeps strong relations with institutional bodies such as The Government, Parliament, parliamentary and non-parliamentary committees and political parties.

P3 – Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (EL) - Partner

The IED is an NGO founded in 2005 in Larissa, Greece. The main vision is to create an environment that promotes entrepreneurship, research and the entrepreneurial spirit and mindset of businesses, creating long-lasting relationships with society and the academic community. The IED provides assistance and services in the field of education, economic and social development, promotes human rights and democracy and offers consulting and training services to organisations and individuals, by means of forums, publications, conferences/seminars, networking, collaboration with other institutions and other such activities.

P4 - Krakowskie Centrum Zarządzania i Administracji Sp. z o.o. (PL) - Partner

The Cracow Center of Management and Administration Ltd -KCZIA is a private SME specialised in: consulting - outsourcing services adapted to specialised needs of other businesses (more than 30 period contracts with SMEs). The mission of KCZIA in this area is to offer high quality services with commitment and consistency, in order to enhance and enforce the competitiveness of the enterprises, through the promotion of innovation, technology transfer, use of the research outcomes, development of links with research institutions, exploitation of opportunities for financing and assistance for the utilisation of development programs; education for adults through the Training Centre for Adults and the Cracow Centre of the Improvement of Educational Personnel (KCDKO).

P5 – Camera di Commercio e Industria Italiana per la Spagna (ES) - Partner

The Italian Chamber of Commerce is responsible for economic relationships between Italy and Spain, both as an intermediary between the Italian and Spanish operators, and in activating direct relationships with other organisations.
Some of the main aims of the Chamber of Commerce:
- to facilitate the entry of enterprises in the Italian and Spanish market and to consolidate the relationship between Italian and Spanish enterprises, promoting cooperation agreements;
- to develop measures of public relations and lobbying at different levels, maintaining contacts with relevant authorities and institutional business;
- to play an active role in the support of social, cultural and informational activities whose aim is to create a favorable context for the exchange of relationship and business.


Petru Maior University of Tirgu-Mureş - UPM is the main development centre for human resources and higher education in the Mures region, which educates over 6000 students at present, with over 300 staff personnel.
Currently, the University comprises three faculties: Engineering, Science-Letters and Public Administration. The university is an important institution with direct links with industry, providing services and short-term courses that reflect needs from the market. It has affirmed itself as an important development factor in development of relations with the industry by offering short term training courses to industry under market conditions.
"Petru Maior" University gives very much attention to the improvement of the quality of learning process, to promote access to new and innovative methods and educational resources and the larger implications of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education.
